How to Install & Enable tomcat for an account using WHM?

Step to Install Tomcat and enable tomcat service .

1. Login to WHM as root user.

2. Go to Whm >> cPanel >> Manage Plugins >> tomcat

Click on check box against "Install and Keep Updated" click on save. It will install tomcat.   3. Now go to Whm >> service configuration >> service manager.

Click on check box against tomcat under enabled column and then click on save. It will enable tomcat service.  To enabled jsp pages for an account:
Go to Whm >> account functions >> install servlet select the domain name click on install.   Now JSP pages can be hosted.

 

If not found tomcat in Manage plugins section, install Tomcat RPM first

1. Login to WHM as root user

2. Go to --> Main >> Software >> Install a RPM

and select appropriated RPMs tomcat and its libraries..

 

Follow the above step to setup on a domain
